the babies exhibition has come to
an end - i suppose relatively successful in view of
the errant nature of it - the mania
books in fact sold surprisingly quickly - this exhibition
also surprisingly patronised by a large percentage
of young females apparently (slightly unusual for
taco-che) - and surprising to me
the anatomy doll didn't sell (...personally i thought
very cheap for a rare trevor brown three-dimensional
work)

there's a double page article about me in the latest
issue of the italian goth mag ritial
(marilyn manson on the cover - ho hum) - as far as i
remember, i wasn't consulted about this - the images
are all old and there's no web site plug - and, needless
to say, they don't inform me about it or send me a copy
of the thing (unwanted anyway) - the baby art correspondent
in italy says it's a very lame feature - why am i even
mentioning it?

and digging up the past again i've uploaded an upgraded
jpeg of foetus in head - one my few
"early works" i can look at today without
cringing in embaressment and actually be astounded
by my own artistic and conceptual genius! :-P

took a new photo of my old anatomy doll as i intend
to put her on sale at my taco-che babies
exhibition next week - the doll is soft plastic which
was painted over and the added anatomy sculpted in
clay - unfortunately, shortly
after this photo taken the wind blew her flat on her
face causing some bad damage - i'll sell her much
cheaper now :-/

editions treville, the japanese publisher
of trevor brown's "lolipunk" books, have
now uploaded fairly extensive information pages in
english (and very occasionally engrish) covering all
their books

second wooden baby block design made - photos now
added to the baby art miscellaneous
section - a few people have asked about buying them
but they were produced exclusively for sale at my
babies exhibition
next month (an awkward shape for mail order anyway)
- so, to the left, a virtual baby block for you to

i'm sickened to discover some supposed 'fan' of my
work has immediately put his copy of my recent mania
book (the babies book) on ebay -
at three times my own asking price! - gratuitous profiteering
greed - happily he has no takers, as i write, and
i advise anyone interested NOT to buy it at
that price! (offer $100) - it's especially infuriating
as i specifically requested in my newsletter that
the book not be bought for resale on ebay - i could
have sold that copy to someone who actually wanted
it and was not out to fleece collectors of my work
- i spent two months laboriously making the book and
sold for minimum personal gain so in my opinion this
is highly disrespectful and insulting to me - i've
deleted the person from my mailing list and will not
sell to him again
provoked by this i wished to
reopen the baby art shop and tried
to make a new paypal account using a new email address
etc - but of course i was immediately banned again
(in fact, not immediately, they waited until i had
money in the account and then terminated it) - purely
for the reason i am trevor brown, branded as an evil
child sex pornographer for life by paypal -
"this case cannot be appealed": judge, jury
and executioner! - i should report the above ebay
power seller for trading kiddie porn?!
anyway, now that i put so much
work into making a shop page (and have a big box of
books to sell) i'm going to upload it anyway - there
are ways to circumnavigate the paypal bastards problem
making - please support the artist and not nefarious
ebay traders!

book entitled sex in design by
lou savoir, published by tectum - contains text
in english, french and dutch - i'm very happy
to see my work nicely presented in such a relatively
normal mainstream book!

of the remaining copies of the limited edition version of
my (much loved!) rubber doll book - 500
signed/numbered copies were produced with a "rubber"
cover and pierce ring bookmark - price is $80 including

the latest issue of bizarre magazine
in the uk (no.124) has a very nice five page feature
on me - not seen the actual thing myself yet but been
sent a pdf so i can share the impressive opening spread
here before it's last month's news already (tho the
mag comes out a month later in the usa?) - get!

another french paperback edition of hitomi kanehara's
acclaimed snakes and earrings
with my tattooed doll head art on the cover
(not to mention a previous italian edition -
sadly the english translations have much more
mundane cover art) - altho the publishers of
this edition, 10/18, were marginally
less painful to extract my payment from, typically
they haven't and won't send me a lousy single
copy of the book - do not buy it! - i hate french
publishers!

discount in zurich has gone very well with
no trouble (ahem!), lots of book sales and positive
feedback - originally due to end today, it has now
been extended for an extra two weeks ...till 17 june
