painting, our lady of raspberries,
and a very old black and white car crash drawing
appear on the cover of a new novel by hirayama
yumeaki in japan titled hito
goto - i guess no direct relevance
to the content; a horror story - fairly lavishly
and nicely designed with diecut wraparound cover,
silver glittery title*, blood red endpapers
etc...

edition silver baby art pacifier pendant ! - size approx
4cm - it was just a daydream idea but after getting into
contact with a jewellery maker we found that it could be
done - BUT the original envisaged cost has now doubled (because
of the difficulty of making the kinky little nodules) -
the selling price would be $500 - we are reluctant to abandon
the idea - so, if there are people who'd be seriously interested
in buying one, we are considering making an edition of just
five or ten pieces - it would be a financial loss for me
...but rewarding artistically

in fact, the "brown" spread in the
current issue of skin two extends
to three pages - some of my own least favourite
pix from rubber doll but, nevermind,
everyone's taste is different and i'm very happy
to finally appear in the magazine - i also get
namechecked in an irreverent piece about lolicon
and age play, ho hum - anyway, lots of art and
lots of articles on censorship (and a splendid
cover) make this issue worth investigating |

the years, and especially recently, i've seen quite
a large number of trevor brown "tribute"
images (....and/or blatant rip-offs and suspiciously
similar works!) - i thought of compiling a gallery
of them but i'm too lazy and the quality of them is
somewhat variable - however the above re-interpretation
by zetta
is quite exceptional and definitely worthy of a place
here - my original below for comparison |

feature on censorship in this issue - and also
