homage to “another”

another, the novel, the manga, the tv anime, the movie… and now the doll/art exhibition – which includes two trevor brown paintings – in fact i was misleadingly told the theme was “eyepatch girl” – so neither of my girls have anything whatsoever to do with the story, tho fortunately both have the correct left eye patched at least – the nurse painting was actually originally produced for the never produced trevor brown “fix-me-doll” vinyl figure packaging (ditto this painting) – anyway, exhibition is at bunkamura gallery in shibuya, august 15 to 29

    fix-me-doll not officially cancelled but i gave up expecting it long ago – a japanese figure sculptor (associated with bunkamura) is wanting to do it as a one-off – we’ll see…

    i downloaded the “another” scanlation – looks girly – yet to start reading it
