went to see an exhibition of john santerineross at the jimbocho gallery in, err, jimbocho, a couple of stops along from akiba my video game and plastic nursie shopping haunt (more on that another day) – a small newish gallery showing the like of kenichi murata, yasuji watanabe and kaneko kuniyoshi – i was a little surprised to be recognized by the owner from my previous anonymous visit: “trevor-san desu-ka?” – i missed an exhibition by this artist (i think they are oil paintings?) – anyway, happy to see john’s work and the opportunity to pick up a copy of his second book (already have his first) – the bottom eva-ish photo is not in this book btw, nor at the show sadly…

Than you for the info
I am from USA and I cannot understand some of the language
I love the images however
japanese info for my japanese “readers”
the japanese book is mostly text incidentally (re erotic artists) – not a new photo collection
I knew you would like this photographer! There’s even a little bondage in some of his works. I have both books. He also has a dvd out. There’s a short film about a cutter. It also shows him in the studio working on never before seen images. The dvd has picture archive of both books. That’s also sold on Amazon.
By the way, I’m ordering Natalie Shau’s book this month. The image archive on google images convinced me this book is something special and worth every dollar. I spoke to her by email several times and she’s very nice. By the way the 219 euros comes out to $288 as of February.
i think of both natalie and john more as artists than photographers – kinda interesting that natalie is 2% photography / 98% photoshop and john is 98% photography / 2% photoshop (everything seen in his photos is constructed in the studio)
the gallery had the dvd up for grabs too – but a bit expensive and i much prefer books to digital
Very interesting photos… I also like this photo very much:

But I guess, I`m right assuming that mugging little girls rather constitutes an exception here, right?
BTW: I`m still desperately searching for the Alice book by Vladimir Clavijo-Telepnev. There must be a book of this artist/photographer anywhere outthere, but I can`t find anything. Do you maybe know where to buy this book Trevor? If anyone knows it, then it must be you.
chasing rabbits!
You don`t have to answer my question. I can`t understand why, but I guess, there isn`t even any book of this artist to buy…
i think you’re wasting your time – no such book exists (as far i know anyway) – tho according to his bio he has two albums: imperfecto and impressions

Thanks for the info!
…And sry if I stepped a little bit on your feet. I just thought maybe you`d know about this…
I also have Ray Caesar’s, “The Fine Art Collection-Volume 1 with the cards. I began to appreciate photoshop art way back when I took college classes. I love what photoshop can do especially when used in Natalie Shau’s method. Looking forward to receiving her book. I read John wants to move towards making movies.
Just ordered Natalie Shau’s Book. In case anyone interested. You press send money in your paypal enter the amount. Currently the exchange is $288.00. You can enter Usd or euros. She accepts both. Next, I’m waiting for Coop’s new book and the new EC archives to come out in November.
EC archives? Yeah, this morning I received the re-coloured Vault#2 and Haunt#1.
I thought the above mentioned archives were to be released in Nov.? I have to check it out on Amazon.com Thanks for mentioning them!
No problem, DF.
Yeah, it seems that there’s been some problems completing the publication of the re-coloured series. However, I bought mine direct from Russ Cochran.
