a one-off puzzle made with my “toy box” exhibition in mind (this april) – after placing my order it took just three days for the finished item to arrive on my doorstep from the company in slovakia! – 300 pieces, 26 x 38cm – took a couple of hours to complete – quality is nice but i think cost might preclude having lots made to sell – especially being unsure how much interest there would be in it? – going to look into more financially viable wholesale alternatives with japanese companies…

Very nice. The jigsaw looks great.
If selling a jigsaw on it’s own doesn’t seem to generate enough attention, releasing it as a supplement to a future publication (ala the Pop-Up for the ‘Alice’ special edition) may be a nice treat.
actually, the reason i wanted to use this image is because it’s a few years old now, still “a good one”, and hasn’t been in any trevor brown book, and probably won’t be in any foreseeable future trevor brown book
Looks great! TB`s babyart as a jigsaw fits perfectly. It`s just kinda sad that there isn`t any jigsaw in the jigsaw. It would fit to the image and would have been a nice play on words.
The picture itself is great too! Reminding me of the old Dali skulls I`ve always loved very much.
Although, I`m not sure, but it just still looks kinda strange on some parts, as if the image elements were forced to cooperate for the greater purpose. But I guess, it`s also very hard to create such optical illusions in a rather realistical style.
excellent ! Much more pieces than my cheap czech provider….
Just in time before the deadline in 5 days for whishes …. like lot of success, paintings, publications, vynil figures, ball jointed dolls, … and travel (?) for 2012
@lele: WTF you have the EVA book for only $89.99?!?
@Blakat: WTF you have the MAMA again for only 29.00 €?!?
This is soo great! Must have, must have!
Nice puzzle! I actually just bought a few of your books to help with my PhD on depictions (artistic and commercial) of female gender role development. I’m currently looking forward to looking through the black & white book today.
I wish I had patience to do a puzzle! Hope you have great success with them!

+1
I would buy a puzzle
I’m terrible at doing puzzles. But I still want the art! Trevor, can you glue it together for me please?
♥
why did you not use this image ??

it would be much less time consuming in completing
I like the puzzle and the artwork. It\’s a great idea.
I wish there was some vinyl figures of your stunning designs.
I\’m a big fan of the \"Orchid Seed\" vinyl figures (not sure if you know them).
I like it! Of course I’d want to buy some for my shop.
for cost-effectiveness i’ll probably be doing 100 …which is more than i want and can sell myself?
2 puzzles min. would be alredy sold
)
98 to go – i think i’ll cancel – my good idea not such a good idea – the puzzle held in too low reverence – for japanese it’s just a novelty that comes out of a purikura machine for 200yen ($2) or an eighties thing – so, back to boring posters and post cards : (
That’s horrible news, was looking forward to it.
it’s happening again (….maybe???) – i got a good price for doing 50 from the slovakia company
I would like to purchase one
Where can I get it?
maybe some available at the end of april (after my “toy box” exhibition) – check back here for info
