yay! - long awaited - even after published and ordered, another several week wait for this to plop into my mailbox - 444 pages of nostalgic bliss covering the birth and classic radio gnome trilogy era of gong (1969-1975), in a suitably kaleidoscopic scrapbook fashion, as hilariously (dis)remembered by daevid allen (”i wouldn’t believe a word of it unless you want to”) - essential reading for any gong fan needless t’say really - the madcap god pictured below sporting headgear featuring an unidentified mattel doll we actually have (well, it’s konomi’s actually, bought in london) and the subject of one or two (not so good) old tb paintings
I`ve never listened to anything by them!
