i have two paintings at this exhibition at span art gallery next month - provisional title was “japonisme: backwards and forwards” (or something to that effect) but looks like that has changed now - the exhibition is in two parts: 05-17 october and 19-31 october - i don’t know which half i’m in yet - perhaps one show is “backwards” and the other “forwards”, so one painting in each - a book is being produced for the occasion - A4, hardcover, 134 pages, ¥3500
also of interest - mister kenichi murata, who’s participating in this show, has his own solo exhibition at (more-or-less) the same time at (relatively) nearby gallery milieu
