black rubber bands

rescued from the past month’s 2500 junk mails in my “other” email box (which i only really ever use for sending out my own junk mail once a year) - model is tessa, photography is by alva bernadine - “…lovingly inspired by you, your blog and of course, Bellmer…” says the letter - and of course wonderful enough for me to immediately stick up on my blog - and inspires me, or gives me an excuse, to show works by a couple of artist friends here

cg artist nori tomizaki - photo-retouching rather than rubber bands

and the originator mario a (with a teeny bit of tb inspiration you may be able to get him to admit)

what i like about all these, besides the simple effective idea, is that they all look like they’ve just been dropped and then photographed how they landed

the colour one?, no that’s photo-retouching - in fact maybe none are actually rubber bands - i think i spy a small knot on tessa’s thigh, second pic (therefore string or elastic?) - and it looks like mario drew some of his joint lines

The broken aspect is intriguing. Joint lines, drawn or not is on spot.
